Why Use Our 2026 Calculator?
Precision is non-negotiable when it comes to your payroll and personal income.
Manual calculations for EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB are not just time-consuming; they are prone to errors that lead to compliance risks or disgruntled employees. Our 2026 calculator is designed to give you instant clarity by incorporating:
SOCSO & EIS Caps: Factor in the contribution ceiling, currently set at RM6,000 monthly salary.
Employer's View: We show the Total Employer Cost, so bosses can see their actual commitment beyond the basic salary.
SST-Ready for Services: Our calculator factors in the 6% Service Tax for professional and accounting fees.
Threshold Compliance: We help SME owners determine if they need to charge (or pay) SST on their professional service contracts.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I really need to contribute 2% EPF for my foreign workers?
Yes. As of October 2025 (affecting your 2026 payroll), the Malaysian government has made EPF contributions mandatory for non-Malaysian citizen employees. Both the employer and the employee are required to contribute at a minimum rate of 2% each. Our calculator has a specific toggle to help you factor this into your business costs.
What is the difference between PCB and the tax I pay during e-Filing?
PCB (Potongan Cukai Bulanan) is a monthly “pay-as-you-go” deduction from your salary. It’s an estimate intended to spread out your tax bill. When you do your e-Filing (usually in April/June), you declare your actual reliefs (like lifestyle, medical, or children). If your PCB was higher than your final tax, LHDN will refund you the difference.
My business is an MSME. Do I need to charge 6% SST on my services?
For 2026, the government has increased the SST exemption threshold for MSMEs from RM1 million to RM1.5 million in annual sales for certain categories like rental or leasing services. If your annual taxable services exceed this threshold, you must register for SST and charge the 6% rate. If you’re unsure, our team can perform a quick “SST Health Check” for you.
How does the "Total Employer Cost" help my business?
Many new business owners forget that if they pay an employee RM5,000, the actual cost to the company is higher. You have to add your share of EPF (12-13%), SOCSO, and EIS. Our calculator automatically shows you this “hidden” total so you can hire and budget with confidence.
Can I use the results from this calculator for my official LHDN submission?
This tool provides an accurate estimate based on statutory formulas, but it does not replace official payroll software or professional filing. For official submissions, you must use LHDN’s e-CP39 or a certified payroll system. If you want us to handle the official filing and ensure 100% compliance, you can click the “Let’s talk on WhatsApp” button below.
Why is my actual net pay different?
Actual pay may vary due to specific Benefit-in-Kind (BIK) perks, overtime (OT), or additional personal tax reliefs you’ve claimed.
